She has a proven track record of successfully managing large clinical trials across various phases and therapeutic areas, with expertise in leading global teams and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Professional background

Anke began her career as Clinical Research Associate in a Contract Research Organization (Omnicare Clinical Research). In this journey she evolved to a seasoned International Project Manager, experienced in orchestrating complex clinical trials. In 2009, she embarked on a new chapter by starting to work as freelance clinical research professional. This path offered her a lot of diversity and she had successful collaborations with several prominent pharmaceutical companies. She worked 14 years for Johnson & Johnson in Beerse, Belgium as Global Trial Manager in Global Clinical Operations as well as in early and late-phase development.
She has successfully managed large clinical trials across various phases and therapeutic areas, with expertise in leading global teams and ensuring adherence to timelines, budget as well as compliance with quality standards. Next to her role within J&J, she also worked at Novellas Healthcare, as project director, leading the Patient Support (PSP) Team and building a PSP department in Spain. In addition, she is also collaborating with the Cardiff University to deliver project management for a pre-clinical project in contraception, sponsored by the Gates Foundation.
