Luc Francis Jacobs’ expertise in strategy and business development in the field of Telecom was built over a successful career in several Sales and General Management roles in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Professional background
Prior to his career as a Consultant and Trainer, Luc Francis held the position of General Business Development Manager for Nokia Ventures Organization in Finland.
He headed a 650-million-euro business investment fund, responsible for developing technology and new businesses. His mission was to bring mobile internet and multimedia services to consumers.
A respected brand authority with over 25 years of market experience, Luc Francis was a driving force in Nokia’s efforts to penetrate the mobile multimedia market.
When Luc Francis first joined Nokia, he served as Account Director for Nokia Networks, taking care of infrastructure sales in the Benelux region. In this position, he was directly involved in designing and fine-tuning the business models of several of today’s leading Mobile Telecom and Internet Service Providers.
Before joining Nokia, Luc held a variety of management positions at Eupen Cableworks where he concluded numerous important contracts with the Telenet Group, part of Liberty Global, one of the leading quadruple play cable operators Worldwide.
Luc Francis also serves on the board of several start-ups and SMEs in the IT and Media industry.
Education and qualifications
Luc Francis holds an MSc Engineering degree in Micro-Electronics from ‘Ecole Centrale des Arts et Métiers’ and a Postgraduate in Management from ‘Solvay Business School’, both in Brussels.

Luc Francis is a Belgian national living in Brussels. He conducts his workshops in English, French and Dutch.
