He has a broad functional background having worked as a Managing Director, Sales Manager, VP Sales Operations and Project Manager.
He is a strong strategic and analytical thinker and has particular expertise in leadership of both formal and informal teams, strategy implementation and people motivation across cultures and continents.

Professional background

Thomas became a Senior Associate at MCE in 2015.
With a professional background in Finance and Consulting industries, Thomas has a considerable experience in general management positions. He has managed global project teams and been directly responsible for more than 100 staff.
He worked as a Managing Director, Sales Manager and VP Sales Operations for Global Blue, a market leading payment service company.
Before that, he worked as a Project Manager for many clients from very small organisations to global Blue Chips, public and private companies, and owner-managed to stock-quoted corporations on behalf of Berger Strategy Consultants and MAC, a local Austrian M&A boutique as well as Deutsche Bank (Austria).

Education and qualifications

Thomas holds a masters degree of WU Wien (Vienna University of Economics) in Business Administration. He is a certified business consultant by the Chamber of Commerce in Vienna (WKW) and has successfully completed a number of executive courses at Hernstein Institut (Vienna), INSEA (Paris) and IESE (Barcelona). He is an Insights Practitioner, a Systemic Consultant, Certified Business Consultant (ACC) and a Certified Systemic Coach.

Personal

Thomas currently lives and does business from Vienna. He has lived and worked in Austria, Italy and Germany before and facilitates in German, English and Italian. Thomas is a strong believer in visualization working as well as a conceptual photographer.
