Ronald Verheijden

Faculty PictureRonald has more than 20 years’ experience in information and telecommunications technology, implementation of infrastructure projects, project management, coaching and facilitation.
Ronald has been a consultant with major IT & Telecommunications organizations as well as companies in Food, Automotive and Pharmaceuticals. He led large changes which helps him understanding the dynamics in such large organizations.

Professional background

Since 2000 Ronald has been working as a consultant and trainer.
Previous to being an independent consultant, Ronald worked at Origin Netherlands as International Project Manager. He managed several software development and millennium projects in the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Portugal. He coached and trained project managers in the Origin project management and contract management methodology (based on PMBOK).
As Project Manager at NCR Netherlands, Ronald was responsible for development and complex implementations of computer systems, desktop migrations, ATM’s, Data Warehousing and payment terminals.
As International Project Manager, Ronald was responsible for operational and commercial aspects for all international projects and dispatching at Datelnet Group, Netherlands.
As Outside Plant Systems Project Manager, for AT&T Network Systems International, Europe, Ronald managed installation of several optical fiber networks in Middle East, Poland, France, UK, and the Netherlands. He also designed, developed, updated, and delivered technical training regarding transmission systems.

Education and qualifications

Ronald holds a Certificate in Education, Teacher of Mathematics, Science and IT, from the Higher Vocational School in Amsterdam. Ronald is PMP certified (Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute), Prince-2 (foundation and Practitioner). He has a Scrum Master Certification, an IPMA (Level C) and a Business Analysis Master Certificate.

Personal

A Dutch national, Ronald lives in the Netherlands. He facilitates his workshops in Dutch and English and he also speaks German.
