Filip has managed teams in Europe, US and Asia and worked with top management as well as middle management and operators.
He has lead successful global business transformation projects, strategy development and deployment, operational improvements and systems implementations.
Professional background
Currently Filip is a certified professional coach working with companies on leadership and team development.
As a Business Manager at Saint-Gobain, Filip had global responsibility for sales and business development focusing on specific global markets. As a member of the leadership team he worked on defining and implementing strategy, and on leading an organization and culture change based on Autonomous Teams.
Earlier at Saint-Gobain, Filip was Operations Director overseeing four European manufacturing sites and general manager for one site. In all of these positions, people management and development have been a key aspect for success.
Prior to that Filip worked ten years at Deloitte Consulting as Senior Manager and Director, leading project teams on systems implementation and business transformation. His clients were multinational companies in manufacturing industry and logistics services.
Filip started his career as production manager in a medium sized company with a production team of 200 people and a focus on lean manufacturing.
Education and qualifications
Filip holds a PhD Engineering and a Post-Graduate Business Management. He is a Certified IPEC Coach and he is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from ICF.
Personal
Filip is a keen golf player and loves the meditative and social aspect as well as the technical challenge of the game. He practices –not enough- yoga and meditation.
He is proud to be a husband and a father and aims every day to adhere to his his personal motto “Another Day in Paradise”.
