Christine Vanormelingen

Faculty PictureA former Communication and Marketing Director, Christine brings more than 20 years of international experience in the Banking, Insurance and Chemical/Pharma sector. She supports her clients in developing efficient communications and marketing strategies, developing, and running CSR branding campaigns, providing advice for CSR communications leadership. She is a trainer and coach.

Professional background

Until September 2018, Christine performed as the Global Head of Communication & Investor Relations and in charge of the Digital and CSR transformation at Euroclear. She was also leading the company’s global reputation programme.
Previous to that, Christine was leading the Marketing, Communications’ and/or CSR teams at BNP Paribas Fortis Private Banking, the pharmaceutical trade association pharma.be and at AXA Bank and Insurance.
For many years, she took up strategic responsibility for local and global markets.
Next to this longstanding corporate career, she also trained and coached many communications and marketing professionals for Kluwer (NCOI nowadays) and was guest lecturer at amongst others HUB and University of Ghent because of her passion to share her learnings and insights to further professionalise the communications and marketing functions.

Education and qualifications

Christine holds a Master’s in literature and Philosophy Roman Languages, a Bachelor’s in applied economics from the University of Antwerp, a Postmaster Degree in Marketing Strategy from the Vlerick Management School and a certificate in Reputation management from Said Business School in Oxford.

Personal

Christine lives Belgium. She delivers her trainings in English, French, Dutch, and German. She loves contemporary art and practices golf, ski and hiking in her spare time.
