The Communication Challenges Organisations Face Today
Your people are experts in what they do. But in many organizations today, communication doesn’t always keep up with the pace and complexity of work. Professionals may start with too much detail, give updates that don’t match what senior leaders need, or find it difficult to guide discussions when opinions differ. As a result, conversations take longer, clarity is lost and teams struggle to move work forward efficiently.

What People Need to Communicate Better
A global organisation recently asked MCE to help improve communication across its expert and managerial teams.
During initial conversations, few common challenges became visible. Many people:
- began their messages with detailed information instead of the main point
- did not always adapt their updates to what senior leaders or cross-functional audiences needed to hear
- found it challenging to stay concise when conversations moved quickly or questions came fast
The MCE Solution
MCE created a short, practical learning journey to help participants turn information into simple, clear messages that are easy for different audiences to follow. The programme focused on helping people:
- structure messages around what different audiences need
- turn complex information into clear and simple messages
- speak with calm confidence in a range of business situations
Delivery
To ensure global accessibility and real-life application, the programme was delivered through a two-day blended format across Europe.
1 day – In-Person Workshop: Structuring Your Message for Impact
Participants worked with their own business examples and used group discussions, short individual exercises and real-play practice to test how well their messages landed with different audiences. They simplified complex information, built a clear message flow and received targeted coaching from the facilitator.

½ day – Virtual Lab 1: Everyday Communication
In small virtual groups, participants applied the message structure to real scenarios such as team updates or cross-functional conversations. The session included peer-to-peer exchange and practical cases to help them transfer the skills into their daily work.

½ day – Virtual Lab 2: Tough Situations
