Vedat brings to MCE his 29-year experience as an International Finance Executive and Management Consultant. Vedat has developed a strong expertise in distribution activities including development and implementation of distribution channels and organizational models, business strategic planning for product and service distribution and performance management.
He worked for international companies such as HP, Logitech and PwC.
Since 2011, he has been working as an Independent Consultant. He is based in Geneva. Vedat delivers services and solutions in Corporate Transformation and Restructuring, Implementation of Strategy, Organisational and Leadership Development and Implementation and Development of the Finance Function.

Professional background

Previous to his consultancy career, Vedat worked 25 years in International companies in Turkey, Russia, UK, Ireland and Switzerland holding senior finance and leadership positions in IT, Consumer Electronics and IT sectors. His scope of responsibilities progressively increased to levels of directly managing 60 finance professionals and business volumes of 10B USD.
Vedat was EMEA Finance Director at Logitech. He was responsible for P&L management, defining and executing the business growth strategy and providing financial leadership in finding and executing the key success factors, leading continuous improvement in finance function to achieve the vision, values, priorities and business fundamentals.
As Senior Finance Director at HP, Vedat managed and led in many different regions and across the world, particularly in Europe, Latin America and Canada where he worked in country operations, financial services, business support and corporate roles. Vedat was responsible for EMEA IPG (Imaging and Printing Group) Sales and Marketing function.
As Senior Auditor at PwC, Vedat was responsible for the planning, execution and reporting of the end-to-end customer audits and advisory services of local and international clients in line with local legal and internally accepted financial accounting and reporting standards.

Education and qualifications

Vedat has received a BA degree from Bosphorus University, Faculty of Business Administration and he also has completed a Management Program at INSEAD, Paris. He has a Leadership Coaching certification from Zenger Folkman.

Personal

Vedat Salfur is Turkish and a resident of Geneva, Switzerland. He speaks English fluently, French and German at intermediate level. He conducts his workshop in Turkish and English.
