Ronald has more than 20 years’ experience in information and telecommunications technology, implementation of infrastructure projects, project management, coaching and facilitation.
Ronald has been a consultant with major IT & Telecommunications organizations as well as companies in Food, Automotive and Pharmaceuticals. He led large changes which helps him understanding the dynamics in such large organizations.
Professional background
Since 2000 Ronald has provided services in project management and its methodologies for international organisations. His projects include developing and rolling-out PM Offices and PM methodologies, managing the implementation of several infrastructure projects for UPC (Telecom, Cable and Internet), managing the re-organisation of a telecom client, as well as coaching and facilitating workshops on various management skills and PM.

As the International Project Manager with Origin Nederland BV (Atos Origin), an international IT services company, Ronald was in charge of managing several Millennium projects in the Netherlands, Germany, France and Portugal. He managed Software development projects and coached international project managers in the Origin PM and contract management methodology, based on PMBOK (Body of Knowledge) (1998-2000).
As PM with NCR Netherlands BV, Ronald was responsible for complex implementations of computer systems, desktop migrations, Automatic Teller Machines (ATM) and payment terminals, while coaching several implementation coordinators (1997-1998).
As the PM International with Datelnet Group, Dispatching, Ronald had operational and commercial responsibility for all international projects and dispatching. He set up a project office to support these projects, developed a mechanism for the price/cost calculations, developed expatriates’ terms and conditions and contracts for foreign customers. He organized international dispatching in Curacao (1996-1998).
With AT&T Network Systems International, Ronald worked as a PM Outside Plant Systems, in charge of managing the installation of several fiber optical networks in Poland, France, UK and the Netherlands. He set up implementation plans and procedures for new international products in Russia, Spain and the UAE. He began with AT&T as a training specialist for Transmission systems (1991-1996).
He started his career as a Teacher of Mathematics, Science and IT (1982-1991).
Education and qualifications
Ronald attained the qualification of Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 1996. He holds a Certificate in Education, Teacher of Mathematics, Science and IT, from the Higher Vocational School in Amsterdam (1982). He is also a Prince-2 practitioner (process based approach for PM), 2001. He has a Scrum Master Certification (2016)
Personal
A Dutch national, Ronald lives in the Netherlands. He facilitates his workshops in Dutch and English and he also speaks German.
