With more than 15 years of professional experience, Pavel brings to MCE a wealth of skills and knowledge. He started his career in Information Technology and then progressed within premier management consulting firms. That experience included due diligence, enterprise risk advisory, and post-merger-integration domains. As a transformation program leader for one of the major banks in Russia, Pavel provided extensive expertise on organisational design, performance management improvement, job evaluation and business processes reviews. He worked across multiple teams and companies, including assignments from Western Europe to Siberia. He has unique combination of IT, HR, and finance knowledge and skills.
Professional background
From 2008 to the present, Pavel has worked as an organizational development consultant and coach with local and international companies.
In 2008 he was engaged by BearingPoint consultancy to manage international teams on the post-merger recovery project in Eastern Russia. His role as an advisor was to provide support on organizational and business process design for service functions (IT, finance, HR). He assisted several companies with similar tasks until late 2009, when he was appointed by the large Russian conglomerate, LSE-listed AFK Sistema, to be a project director for the transformation program. Pavel worked with the senior executives as a consultant and a coach, improving performance management systems, risk management systems, organizational structure, and business decision making quality. He also served as a non-executive director in several audit and strategy board-level committees, and executed shareholder control over funds distribution by being a member of credit committee of the MBRD bank, owned by the conglomerate.
From 2004 to 2008, Pavel worked for Deloitte Financial Advisory Services as a senior consultant providing due diligence support for leading international banking institutions (Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley). Most of his reviews focused on operational and organizational risks associated with deals.
In 2004, Pavel joined Deloitte and Touche as a consultant in the Enterprise Risk Services Department. He focused on identification of major risks in financial reporting associated with poor data and IT management processes. He reviewed internal control systems of a large number of top banking institutions and international companies, such as Procter & Gamble, Diageo, Ferrero, Cadbury, Grundfos, and PepsiCo.
From 2001 to 2004 Pavel served first as an IT support professional for Prado Group, and later as manager of information technology projects for KMB-Bank.
Education and qualifications
Pavel holds a Specialist Degree in Psychology and a Degree in Management Information Systems. In addition, he is a qualified chartered accountant (UK ACCA), and has several professionally recognized certifications in HR (GPHR, HRBP), Internal Audit (CIA, CISA), and Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner).
He is also accredited in giving psychological feedback on results obtained from personality inventories (TalentQ, Hogan Assessments) and assessing competencies using behavioural interviewing.

Pavel is Russian and lives in Dubai. He worked in Ukraine and Germany. He conducts his workshops in Russian and English.
