In his 25+ years of working both as a leader or coach in Banking and Insurance and as an external consultant or executive coach to various public and private sector clients, Koen helped leaders and teams to not just overcome change, but to thrive thanks to change. In a no-nonsense approach, rooted in solid models and planning, he assisted executives and their teams to develop both themselves and their organisations to full fruition. Koen’s career was divided between external consultancy and internal managerial roles. He worked in various sectors and industries, hiring, developing, leading and motivating people and teams. Change management played a big part in his work, in both smaller scale and international projects. As executive coach he supported the development of decision making and strategy, as consultant he helped strategy implementation and helped people and organisation to adapt to new realities. Talent Management, Communication, Culture analysis and transformation, Agile coaching and management are topics he masters and he has widely used in larger and smaller companies.
Education and qualifications
Koen holds a Psychology Degree (Univ Leuven, Belgium). Koen is an Executive Coach and Agile Coach, he is certified in MBTI (I & II), Tango Business Game, ADKAR change Management, Scrum Master PSM I, MTR-I.
Koen lives in a rural part of Belgium and likes to spend time outside. He is father of 4 children. He fluently speaks Dutch, French and English and has some understanding of German and Spanish.
