Over his twenty years of Life Science (Pharmaceutical) experience, Jean Paul Lemmens has built a deep understanding of Sales Management, Selling Processes, Training and Development, Customer Relationship Management Strategies and Multi-Channel Selling. At Organon (Schering Plough) and J&J, Jean Paul held a variety of commercial positions on global, European and local level. He has a proven track record in leading global and European CRM/Sales Excellence change programs.
Professional background
Jean Paul started his career in 1990 as a Sales Representative at Organon Netherlands and progressed through a series of sales management roles of increasing responsibility before moving to Organon’s European regional organization as Training Manager for the Emerging markets. In this role he contributed to the development of new sales organizations in Russia, Poland, Hungary and Czech Republic and he established the companies first regional Sales Training Curriculum.
In 1997 he moved back to Organon Netherlands as Business Unit Manager, responsible for Sales & Marketing, where he successfully launched multiple new products in the contraceptive marketplace. Following a merger with Nourypharma in 2000, Jean Paul was appointed National Sales Director. In this role he implemented a unique sales strategy within Pharma with an integrated customer care centre, account and project management.
In 2003 he joined Organon’s Global Franchise Organization, where as Director, Global Sales Management he was responsible for Organon’s global sales strategy, processes and worldwide monitoring, including a global CRM system. In early 2007 he also took responsibility for the global eBusiness organization where he drove the integrating of eBusiness into Sales & Marketing.
In 2008, Jean Paul joined J&J´s Lifescan EMEA, operating in the market for diabetes blood glucose monitoring systems (medical devices). As European Sales Development Director, he was responsible for the European Commercial Excellence strategy in EMEA. Next to implementing commercial processes on European level, he also established a European business planning process and the set up of a European Customer Care organization.
Education and qualifications
Jean Paul holds a teachers 1st degree background ( Physical Education and Sports) and after joining the Life Science Industry he gained several qualifications in marketing, sales training & management, Pharmaceutical Business Administration and a MBA in sales.

Jean Paul is Dutch and lives in The Netherlands. He conducts his workshops in English, Dutch and German.
