Andrew Kaye

Faculty PictureAfter 9 years of leadership experience in Barclays and Lloyds Banking group, in 2006 Andy moved into the Leadership Development department of HBoS, becoming a HBoS University facilitator.
Andy joined QA in 2012 and was promoted to Senior Learning Consultant for the Leadership Management and Business Skills team in 2014. He was subsequently promoted to the role of Learning Programme Manager in the LMBS team in 2015, taking responsibility for leading development programmes for large IT, public sector and manufacturing organisations.

Professional background

Andy has 24 years’ experience in the Banking sector, working at Barclays for 18 years and Lloyds for 6 years. Andy was a Learning and Development Consultant with Lloyds Banking Group, working in their Retail Learning Team, helping colleagues from across the business with their development.
Coaching is Andy’s default leadership style, both inside and outside of his work. He not only coaches managers and senior leaders as part of his work, he also coaches in sport. He coaches an under 9s cricket team, runs the ECB All Star coaching programme at the same club and has coached a first time marathon runner to complete the London Marathon in April 2018.

Education and qualifications

Andy holds a Certificate in Training Practice – CIPD. He is an MBTI, Situational Leadership II, PRISM Brain Psychometric, Strength Deployment Inventory Practitioner.

Personal

Andy is a keen sportsman, having played cricket to a high standard he is now a coach, as well as a runner and budding cyclist. His sporting background leads him to research in sport for lessons applicable to his clients and customers.
