Andre-Jean Martinez helps the leaders of customer teams (sales, marketing, product management, etc.) to perform better from two perspectives: Externally by aligning their sales cycle to the buying cycle of customers to increase sales, and internally leading and coaching their teams for optimal performance.
After a General Management spanning five different countries, he is now entirely dedicated to Customer Team Leadership.
Professional background
As France-Export Commercial Manager based in Epernay, André-Jean was responsible for seven sales divisions at Champagne Laurent-Perrier. He launched Laurent-Perrier’s new look to position the brand as a luxury product and implemented a re-organisation project for the French sales division (2004).
With Nestlé Group André-Jean spent 11 years in various sales and marketing leadership functions.
In his role as Country Manager Nestlé Romania, he was responsible for the brands and teams in Romania, Bucarest. He re-positioned Nestlé’s beverage and wafer brands and launched a range of Maggi culinary seasonings as part of an East European launch. He negotiated a new countrywide business partnership with the distributor of all Nestlé products (2002-2003).
As International Sales and Marketing Training Manager, he was in charge of the sales/marketing training courses for 80 countries at Nestlé headquarters in Switzerland (1999-2002).
As Out-of-Home Director Nestlé France in Paris, he created new business channels (1998-1999).
As Sales Manager in Paris, he motivated 85 salesmen by encouraging close customer relationships and by creating a merchandising service (1992-1996).
At Pepsi-Cola International, André-Jean gained his broad sales and franchising experience through various key corporate roles from 1985 to 1992.

Education and qualifications
André-Jean obtained a degree in Entrepreneurship from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in France in 1979.
Personal
Andre-Jean lives in Paris, and conducts his workshops in French and English. He also speaks German and some Spanish.
