What’s it about? : A self-help book for busy professionals by a long-time executive coach. Packs a lot into a small space, but ultimately disappoints in its overall presentation. The phrase “could do better” never rang truer.
Who’s it for? : Everyone struggling (like all of us) with balancing busy professional lives and needing to step back and ask the question “just what am I doing here?”
Why read it?: I may just help you rethink some of your priorities
What’s the style? : A bit basic. Book is let down by poor graphics that are overly simple to and let down the content. A bit childish that lets down the message she’s trying to pitch to the reader.
And the best advice? : The chapter (page 85) on how to recharge your emotional batteries. There are tools and techniques to try (page 104) that’s worth a look
… and if only time to read one chapter? : For a different viewpoint, we’d go for exploring your spiritual energy (page 119). Good points to ponder on.
How MCE rate it? : Sadly the overall presentation let the book down, poor production and unsophisticated production values dilute the messages a great deal. So, just a three out of five.
How to buy it? : Here on Amazon.
